Born Wicked is a wonderful and engaging debut that had me up into the early hours of the morning, eagerly absorbing Jessica Spotswood’s breathtaking prose.

Hi guys! It’s been a while since I’ve made a post here, hasn’t it? A lot of difficult personal has stuff happened in my life since I opened Shattered Memories Reviews, hence the lack of posts. So once everything started calming down some, I really wanted to get back into blogging but I decided I wanted a more literary named blog (Shattered Memories is the name of my fanart site so I just decided to use that). Anyway, this February I opened Bookishly Spellbound and have been posting there ever since so I wanted to give my followers here (if I still have any left, hahaha ;) ) a heads up so they could continue to follow my reviews. I will no longer be updating Shattered Memories Reviews; it will still stay up for a little while so that my remaining followers are able to see this post but after a couple months I’m going to have this URL forwarding to Bookishly Spellbound until the domain expires. I hope you all will continue to follow me and know that I appreciate you for sticking around even though I wasn’t able to keep up with Shattered Memories Reviews at the time. If you would like to continue following me, you can visit my new blog, Bookishly Spellbound, below!

Hello my lovelies! I just wanted to let you all know that I won’t be posting the rest of this week because I’m taking my driver’s ed classroom hours. I don’t know what it is – probably the whole just sitting there for 6.5 hours straight – but I know it’s exhausted me to the point where I haven’t even touched a book for the past two nights. CRAZY, RIGHT? Anyway, I’m definitely looking forward to this week ending so I can get back to reading, there are SO many books I have that I want to start. I’ll probably be posting an In My Mailbox on Sunday but until then the blog is going to be pretty quiet. Talk to you all then!

Don’t look at Them. Never let Them know you can see Them.

That is Ethan Chase’s unbreakable rule. Until the fey he avoids at all costs—including his reputation—begin to disappear, and Ethan is attacked. Now he must change the rules to protect his family. To save a girl he never thought he’s dare to fall for.

Ethan thought he had protected himself from his older sister’s world—the land of Faery. His previous time in the Iron Realm left him with nothing but fear and disgust for the world Meghan Chase has made her home, a land of myths and talking cats, of magic and seductive enemies. But when destiny comes for Ethan, there is no escape from a danger long, long forgotten.

The Iron Fey series is one of my all time favorites so I am definitely excited to return to the magical world that Julie Kagawa has created. I was so, so happy when I found out that she would be continuing the series with a spin-off. I can’t wait to see The Lost Prince join the rest of the Iron Fey books on my shelf!

What book are you waiting on? Be sure to comment with your WoW link and I’ll definitely check it out!
